Photos: Luna-25 Station Sends First Images
The Luna-25 station has transmitted its first images, which were published by the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Russian automatic station heading towards the Moon has completed the initial connection of its technical instruments, reports Roscosmos.
Today, the first connection of the scientific equipment complex developed by IKI RAS was made under space flight conditions. All instruments' servicing telemetry data has shown that they are functioning properly.
The first measurement data from the flight to the Moon has been received, and the scientific team of the project has begun processing them, according to the administration.
Previously, it was reported that after nearly 50 years in Russian history, the Luna-25 station launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome towards the Earth's natural satellite, the Moon.
