Liana Kochinyan, the Educator from Yerevan, Victim of Tragic Accident

One of the victims of the tragic car accident that occurred in the Shirak region was Liana Kochinyan, an educator from the "Hekiat" kindergarten in Yerevan. This was confirmed by Liana's sister's daughter in a conversation with 24News.

“She was 41 years old, unmarried, and had gone to visit her grandparents' land in Aghtamar as part of a pilgrimage. She was always a faithful and divine person, and she took the Bible, specifically the Book of Narek, with her,” said Lucy Hakobian.

It should be reminded that on the night of August 14, a tragic car accident occurred near the village of Lanjik on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. A passenger minibus branded 'Volkswagen' collided with a 'ZIL' truck at the 90th kilometer mark of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. Eleven citizens lost their lives, including the minibus driver and the tour guide from "Hamshen Tour," while six others were severely injured.

Five of the injured are in the intensive care unit, with four in serious condition and one in critical condition. The driver of the 'ZIL' is also among the wounded.
