US Aims to Remove Russia from Peace Process Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Galuzin
The US aims to remove Russia from the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with the 'Russia-24' television channel.
“The US is trying to achieve the same goal everywhere. On one hand, they are pushing Russia out, and on the other hand, they are attempting to neo-colonially subjugate independent states that are partners and allies of Russia, intervening in our cooperation with allies and neighbors. This has always been America's main issue,” he said.
Galuzin emphasized that Moscow has no objection to other countries contributing to the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku, but not with words, rather with actions, in accordance with the fundamental agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
“The efforts of several other mediators should add value specifically in terms of implementing the fundamental documents for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations,” concluded the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
