Russian and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Ministers Meet: Discussions Held in a 'Coalition Spirit'
Consultations were held today in Moscow between Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, and Khalaf Khalafov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The state and prospects of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation were discussed in a substantive manner and in a coalition spirit, including the most pressing issues on the current agenda. A detailed 'clock check' was conducted on a number of regional and international topics. In light of the contacts between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia during the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council in Moscow on May 25, the importance of consistent implementation of all trilateral agreements reached by them was particularly emphasized," the statement said.
