Former Head of Yerevan Investigative Department’s Car Robbed
The car of the former head of the Yerevan Investigative Department, Mher Vardanyan, has been robbed. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
According to the site, the incident occurred on April 13. On that day, around 8:20 PM, Vardanyan noticed that the door of his Porsche, parked near the "SAS" supermarket on Yervand Kochar Street, had been opened, and theft had taken place.
Vardanyan reported to the police a day later, informing them that a bag had been stolen from the interior of the car. The bag contained a "Czech 75B New Edition" pistol, loaded with 8 bullets, 2 passports, weapon permits, bank cards, a military service book, and approximately $6,500.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. It should be noted that Mher Vardanyan was appointed as the head of the Yerevan Investigative Department in October 2021 and was dismissed in October 2022.
