PHOTOS: Car Accident on Ijevan-Dilijan Road

A car accident occurred on the Ijevan-Dilijan road. This is reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On April 13, at 17:39, information was received at the Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center that an accident had taken place on the Ijevan-Dilijan road, resulting in injuries.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a collision occurred on the 8th km of the M-4 highway between a 'Mercedes-Benz Viano' (driver G. S., born in 1968) and a 'Renault' (driver G.K., born in 1999).

Before the arrival of the rescuers, the driver of the 'Mercedes-Benz Viano', along with passengers S. M. (born in 1960), M. D. (born in 2005), the driver of the 'Renault', and passenger H. K. (born in 2000) were transported to the Ijevan city hospital, where doctors assessed the health conditions of G. S. and S. M. as satisfactory, while the other injured were transferred to the 'St. Grigor Lusavorich' hospital in Yerevan.

The rescuers secured the area, disconnected the vehicles from electricity, and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
