Body of Prison Employee Found in Correctional Facility

On April 12, 2023, around 11:20 AM, the body of an employee of the security department of the "Armavir" correctional facility, born in 1977, identified as L.M., was discovered at a guard post within the facility. The preliminary information indicates that he died from a gunshot wound and is believed to have committed suicide using his service weapon.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the Vagharshapat investigative division of the Armavir regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee regarding the incident.
