Body of Employee with Gunshot Wound Found in Veolia Water Company Warehouse

Today, April 13, an extraordinary and tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 14:30, the Kotayk division of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that there was a body of a man in the warehouse of the 'Veolia Water' company located in the village of Arinj.

Police and investigators discovered the body of a man with a gunshot wound in the specified warehouse. According to G. Shamshyan’s sources, the deceased is 37-year-old Arsen S., a resident of Yerevan. A service-issued 'Makarov' type pistol belonging to a member of the State Protection Department of the Armenian Police was found near the body.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation to determine whether it was a suicide, homicide, or an accident. A criminal case has been initiated at the Abovyan investigative division for the features of murder.
