Car Falls into River: Ministry of Emergency Situations

Rescuers have retrieved a car from the river, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On April 13, at 14:21, the Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center received a notification that a car was trapped near the Trchkan Waterfall in the Chichkhan River and required the assistance of rescuers.

A combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. The rescuers managed to pull out a ‘Mercedes-Benz C180’ car (driven by H.G.) from the river, and transported the driver and two passengers to the village of Vardaghbyur.
