Group Brawl in Yerevan Involving Around 20 Participants

On April 16, a significant incident occurred in Yerevan, described as a group brawl involving approximately 20 young individuals. Between 10:50 AM and 11:10 AM, in the section of the road leading from Davitashen to the Ashtarak highway, the young people blocked the road and engaged in violent altercations due to alleged provocations.

According to reports by Shamshyan.com, the cause of the confrontation was a collision between two vehicles, fortunately resulting in no injuries. Following the accident, the individuals began attacking one another, leading to a severe disruption in traffic.

Police arrived promptly at the scene and detained several individuals; however, some fled upon seeing the approaching patrol cars. An investigation into the incident has been initiated. The police and the Patrol Service, in collaboration with the investigative department, are taking necessary measures to identify and locate other participants in the brawl.
