What Was Discussed at the CPP Meeting: Prime Minister Pashinyan Present
The today’s meeting of the governing body of the "Civil Contract" party summarized the results of local self-government elections held in Sisian and Ani communities. This was reported on the CPP's Facebook page.
"The selection procedure for the bodies of the 'Civil Contract' party has been confirmed. Issues regarding the review of membership applications to the party, conduct of the initiative group meetings, and other current matters were discussed," the statement noted.
It was mentioned that the meeting was chaired by the party chairperson, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Earlier reports indicated that the incident involving NA President Alen Simonyan would be discussed at the meeting. In this regard, the spokesperson for the NA President, Tsovinar Khachatryan, stated that only issues related to state-building were addressed at the meeting of the 'Civil Contract' party's governing body.
In response to "Liberty's" question regarding whether Alen Simonyan's behavior was discussed - when a citizen reported that Simonyan had spat in their face after being labeled a traitor, or the subsequent developments - the spokesperson responded negatively.
