Biden Not Focusing on Situation Surrounding Trump, White House Says
The White House has stated that U.S. President Joe Biden is not focusing on the situation surrounding former leader Donald Trump. The announcement was made by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre during a press briefing.
She insisted that Biden plans to "focus on the situation of the American people, which he does every day." "This (Trump's situation) is not the subject of his attention," Jean-Pierre said.
The White House also announced its preparedness for disturbances amid Trump's official arrest. On April 4, Trump arrived at a Manhattan court, where he was officially arrested. CNN reported that the former U.S. president would have a fingerprint taken. He would then be transferred to the courtroom. The arrest would last until charges are filed against him.
