11 Injured Citizens Released Following School Bus Accident
As a result of a bus accident transporting staff and students from the secondary school in the village of Okhtar to Kapan, 11 of the 23 injured individuals have been discharged from the hospital. This information was relayed to NEWS.am by the Syunik regional administration.
“Seven children and five adults are still receiving treatment in the hospital. The condition of the children is satisfactory, but the adults' condition remains serious,” the regional administration noted.
It is worth mentioning that on March 10, a school bus carrying students met with an accident in the administrative territory of the village of Arajdzor, falling into a gorge from a height of 5 meters. The accident resulted in the death of Tamara Davtyan, born in 1970, who was the school's homeroom teacher. A total of 23 individuals were injured, including 14 students, 8 teachers, and 1 staff member.
