Deceased Soldier Andranik Ohanyan is the Grandson of Seyran Ohanyan's Uncle: Hraparak

The deceased soldier Andranik Ohanyan, as reported by Hraparak.am, is a relative of former Defense Minister and leader of the 'Armenia' faction, Seyran Ohanyan, being the grandson of his uncle.

This morning, the Ministry of Defense reported that on March 8, the body of Andranik Karoy Ohanyan, a soldier from the Ministry of Defense's military unit N, was discovered.

Later, the Investigative Committee provided further details: “On March 8, 2023, a report was received from the Berd Division of the RA Ministry of Defense indicating that on the same day, the body of Andranik Karoy Ohanyan, a conscript soldier from the Ministry of Defense's military unit N, was found hanging from a tree in a forest adjacent to the military assembly point.”

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the first part of Article 522 of the RA Criminal Code in the sixth garrison investigative division of the RA Investigative Committee, and an investigation is underway.
