Armenian Trucks Welcomed by Igdir's Emergency Management Chief on Turkish Side

According to Turkish T24, after crossing into Turkey from Armenia via the Margara Bridge, Armenian trucks were welcomed near the bridge by Burhan Çolun, the head of the Igdir Emergency Management Authority. Following the relevant procedures, the Armenian trucks proceeded to the disaster zone.

T24 also noted that aid collected by the Red Crescent after the 1988 Spitak earthquake was similarly sent to Armenia via the Margara Bridge.

It is worth mentioning that the Press Secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan, tweeted that trucks loaded with humanitarian aid crossed the border via the Margara Bridge and were headed to the earthquake-affected region.
