Reports of Armenian Rescuers Looting in Turkey are False
The editor of the Istanbul-based newspaper "Agos," Bagrat Estukyan, has denied reports circulating on Azerbaijani Telegram channels claiming that two Armenian rescuers were involved in looting in Turkey.
These reports, attributed to Estukyan, suggest that the police apprehended the two Armenian rescuers after discovering personal and valuable belongings of the deceased in their possession.
"These are fake news; I have not said anything of the sort to anyone. It absolutely does not correspond to reality, and this is the first time I am hearing this from you," Estukyan stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
