Approximately 3000 Families Who Lost Social Benefits Will Continue to Receive Support
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced that due to the increase in pensions, as well as benefits for old age, disability, and loss of breadwinner, approximately 3000 families who lost their rights to family and social benefits as of November 1, 2022, will continue to receive social support. Additionally, the rights of these families to benefits for November and December 2022 will be restored. The project has received government approval.
Accordingly, the increased amounts of the aforementioned pensions and benefits effective from September 1, 2022, as well as potential increases in 2023, will not be counted in the total income of beneficiary families until October 1, 2023. Thus, individuals included in the vulnerability assessment system will continue to receive benefits until the new vulnerability assessment system is implemented.
