Photos: Explosion Damages Gas Station Roof and Pipelines, Casualties Reported

On January 31, at 09:17, a report was received by the Lorri regional crisis management center about an explosion at a gas station located on the Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway, which led to a fire outbreak.

Two firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was found that an explosion occurred in the compressor section of the gas station (approximately 150 square meters), which initiated a fire, damaging the structural elements of the roof and the gas pipelines.

The fire was contained by 09:40 and extinguished by 10:33. Approximately 2 square meters of wooden structural elements of the roof and the leaked gas were burned. There are three injured individuals who have been transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center.
