Two People Die from H1N1 Flu in Armenia

Two death cases have been reported in Armenia due to the H1N1 virus. This was mentioned by Romella Abovyan, the head of the Epidemiology Department of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, during a press conference on the topic of influenza and acute respiratory infections.

“The deceased patients were 35 years old. Moreover, one of them had chronic illnesses, including 4th-degree obesity. This means they were in a risk group,” she detailed, emphasizing that seeking medical attention in the early stages of the disease can help save lives.
