Explosions Ring Out in Kyiv

Explosions have been reported in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, with special services dispatched to the scene, according to the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, on his Telegram channel.

The Shevchenkivskyi district is the historic center of Kyiv.

"Explosions in the Shevchenkivskyi neighborhood of the capital. Services are heading to the scene. More details to follow," Klitschko wrote.

It is reminded that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided on a special military operation against Ukraine, following a request for assistance from the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
