The Opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' is Impossible, Says Iranian Expert

Azerbaijan's military exercises near the Iranian border have angered Aliyev, as he understands that the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' is impossible. This was stated by Abdolreza Farajirad, former Iranian ambassador to Norway and geopolitical expert, in an interview with the Iranian ISNA agency.

Farajirad noted, 'Aliyev, taking advantage of the protests occurring in Iran, has intensified his rhetoric against the country,' adding that much of the existing issues within Iran could be significantly reduced through internal unity and the restoration of the nuclear deal. Such measures would lead individuals like Aliyev to behave more cautiously.

'These problems need to be addressed, and then we will see what Aliyev will do. If his tongue is too long, it is naturally required to show him his place,' he stated.
