Putin Holds Phone Conversation with Aliyev: Details
Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during which the leaders discussed trilateral agreements and agreed on further communications. This information was reported by the Kremlin's press service.
“The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has had a phone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. They discussed the practical aspects of implementing the agreements made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, and October 31 of this year, including plans for restoring economic and logistical ties in the South Caucasus. An agreement has been reached on further communications,” the statement read.
It is noteworthy that this morning, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway connecting Artsakh to Armenia, citing environmental reasons.
