Men Who Fired Gunshots in Goris Identified

On October 17, at 01:00 AM, a resident of Goris called the police operational management center, reporting that they heard gunshots and firecracker sounds.

Law enforcement officers from the Goris Division established that around 00:40 AM, two men, aged 38 and 42, fired shots from illegal firearms near one of the restaurants on Artsakh Boulevard in Goris. Spent cartridges were discovered at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated. As a result of operational and investigative measures undertaken by Goris police, the men were identified, arrested, and taken to the division. They were presented to the investigative body, where they provided confession statements.

The firearm used in the crime, an "AKM" type submachine gun, was also found. The investigation is ongoing.
