Austrian Activists Occupy Former Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov's Estate

Austrian activists have occupied the estate of former Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov. Around 30 Austrian activists have seized the property at the Attersee lake in the Salzburg region, according to The Insider publication. The estate belongs to Shuvalov, who was the former first deputy prime minister of Russia, and he had lived there as recently as March. Lately, it has been reported that there have been no sightings of anyone at the estate.

On social media, the activists condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and call for the seized properties to be handed over to refugees and the homeless.

It should be noted that in mid-March, activists had occupied billionaire Oleg Deripaska's mansion in London, while in France, activists had stormed the residence of Vladimir Putin's daughter located in Biarritz, named "Alta Mira."
