Ukraine Blocks 21 Turkish Ships in Odessa Port
Ukraine has blocked 21 Turkish ships at the Odessa port, with Kyiv using them as a live shield, Turkish media reports.
According to information received, 21 ships that have obtained permission to operate from the Odessa port belong to Turkey. Ukraine does not want these ships to leave, citing the "danger" posed by mines remaining in the sea. Russia has opened a safety corridor, but passage has not yet been permitted. However, the primary aim is different. If foreign ships leave, Ukrainians would become clear targets, and Odessa would soon fall. For this reason, Ukrainians are preventing foreign ships, including the 21 Turkish vessels, from departing.
