Major Car Accident in Kotayk Region: One Injured

Today, on May 9th, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 2:00 PM, vehicles of the Lexus and Toyota Ipsum brands collided on the 1st kilometer of the road leading from Yerevan to Sevan towards the city of Charentsavan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, as a result of the accident, the Lexus veered off the roadway and overturned, ending up in a field. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was taken to the Charentsavan Medical Center for medical assistance.

The Road Police are currently investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured party.
