Initial Data on Damages from Fire at Azersun Factory

Initial data has been released regarding the damages incurred by the Azersun industrial park due to a fire in Sumgait, Azerbaijan. It has been reported that the burned stock was not only intended for the domestic market but was also being exported.

The total losses are estimated at tens of millions of manats. According to a source, "The loss from the destruction of products alone could be around 20-30 million manats. And this does not account for the lost equipment," the source told APA.

The source also mentioned that a new storage facility now needs to be created, which also requires significant investment.
