Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Fire Erupts in Front of Vehicle
Today, April 26, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:00 PM, a call was received by the 9-11 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from a patrol officer of the 4th battalion of Yerevan’s police force, reporting that a vehicle was on fire on Beirut Street, near the 2800th Anniversary Park of Yerevan.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, by the time the 1st fire and rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived, a security officer from the park had already extinguished the fire that had broken out in the front part of a Mercedes vehicle.
Preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there were no injuries. An emergency medical team also arrived quickly, but the driver refused medical assistance, stating that they were not injured.
