Bodies of Missing Couple Discovered in 'Karmrakar' Cultural Building

On February 15, a tragic incident occurred in the Syunik region. According to shamshyan.com, just a day earlier, on February 14, the police's press office had disseminated information through television and media regarding a couple reported missing, namely 72-year-old Aramayis Grigoryan and 65-year-old Elmira Galstyan.

That same day, materials were prepared at the Kapan police department, and Kapan police, undertaking necessary operational-investigative and search activities, discovered the bodies of the couple in the now-defunct 'Karmrakar' cultural building, located about 1 km away from the main highway of the Karmrakar community.

According to preliminary information, the couple had self-immolated.
