Details on the Young Man Who Died Today: What Happened
Details have emerged regarding the death of a 24-year-old young man in Ajapnyak today. According to information obtained by ArmLur.am, the deceased worked in the special operational unit of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Department for the Fight Against Organized Crime (6th department) of the police. It has been stated that he was a former police officer. He also worked as a security guard at the Mamba nightclub located at Abovyan Street, building 3, block 1.
Additionally, it became known that he had been an active participant in the 44-day war and had shown great dedication. Whether the young man committed suicide or was murdered is currently under investigation by law enforcement authorities. Notably, the young man was found by his parents, who heard the sound of a gunshot, entered the room, and saw their son in that condition.
It should be reminded that shamshyan.com reported that on February 18, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 09:50, a call was received at the Mashtots Police Department and the 9-11 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, reporting that there was a body in one of the houses on Sport Street in the Ajapnyak administrative district. As a result, law enforcement and rescue teams discovered the body of 24-year-old Vaghik A. on the sofa in the living room of the mentioned house, with a gunshot wound to the head. A hunting rifle was found next to him. Currently, a team from the Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia is working at the scene in the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts.
