Suspicious Substances Found in Armavir Prison

On February 13, 2022, around 22:10, personnel of the Armavir penitentiary institution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia found a green substance resembling marijuana during a personal search of inmate G. H., weighing a total of 0.48 grams.

Two days later, on February 15, the same personnel examined a package brought for detainee H. V., during which three black, hard, suspicious substances weighing a total of 9.8 grams were discovered inside a box of chocolate candies.

Materials are being prepared on the facts, and forensic chemical examinations have been appointed.
