Explosion in Athens Leaves Several Injured

On the early morning of January 26, an explosion in central Athens left three people injured. An office building in the area sustained significant damage.

Emergency services reported that a 77-year-old man has been hospitalized with burns. Two others received medical assistance due to smoke inhalation. The explosion occurred on Singrou Avenue, 200 meters from the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Firefighters were using aerial ladders to search for any potential trapped individuals inside the damaged buildings. The cause of the explosion remains unclear.
