Tragic Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: 1 Dead, 3 Injured

Today, on December 13, a major and tragic car accident took place in the Gegharkunik region. At around 08:30, two vehicles, an Opel and a VAZ 2121, collided in the administrative area of Norashen village along the Sevan-Gavar highway.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, four individuals were affected by the accident. The first to respond were citizens followed by the rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Service, who arrived promptly from the Sevan station.

The injured were extracted from the vehicles and transported to Sevan Medical Center. The medical team on duty at the Sevan hospital acted quickly, providing first aid to the injured before their transfer to the hospital.

Photographers on site report that one of the injured individuals, who did not regain consciousness en route to the hospital, has died.
