Brutal Incident in Gegharkunik: Partially Torn Apart Woman's Body Found in Livestock Yard

Today, December 6, a brutal and tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 3:15 PM, a call was received by the Vardenis police department reporting a body in an area known as "Thaper" in the city of Vardenis, specifically in the livestock yard.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Vardenis police department, led by the head, Filip Stepanyan, arrived at the scene.

Officers and investigators discovered the partially torn apart body of a woman lying on the ground in front of a dog kennel belonging to 40-year-old Rustam Sahakyan, a resident of the village of Akunk.

It was revealed that the deceased was 63-year-old Gayane Yeghoyan, a resident of Shirak region.

At the scene, Sahakyan informed the police and investigators that his dog had attacked Yeghoyan, who had been working at the livestock yard.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared at the Vardenis investigative department, and by the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered. The dog was successfully neutralized and placed in a kennel with great difficulty.
