Major Traffic Accident in Tavush Province: Mercedes Collides with Man Truck

Today, December 6, a major traffic accident took place in Tavush Province. Around 13:35, on the 125th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, a Mercedes vehicle collided with a Man truck under yet undetermined circumstances.

As reported from the scene by shamshyan.com, the truck overturned as a result of the collision. One person was extricated from the vehicle with the help of bystanders, and after receiving first aid on-site from the doctors of the Ijevan Medical Center, they were transferred to the center for further care.

Emergency response teams from the Ijevan Fire and Rescue Department quickly arrived, bringing two firefighting units to the scene. The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries and secured the area.

The police are currently working to determine the identities of the drivers and the injured individual. A photojournalist reported that the road remained passable.
