Police Discover Male Body Near Dragon Garden on Northern Avenue

Today, December 6, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:50 AM, officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd battalion of the Yerevan division of the police, led by the deputy commander Davit Nikoghosyan and officers Galstyan and Hakob Badalyan, discovered a male body near the garbage bins next to the Dragon Garden on Northern Avenue while on duty.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, D. Nikoghosyan alerted emergency services, and the medical team that arrived quickly confirmed the man's death. Preliminary conclusions by the forensic expert indicate no signs of violence on the body. Initial information suggests that the man may have died suddenly.

Currently, investigators from the investigative department of the Yerevan Investigative Committee and the 2nd investigative division of the Norq-Marash administrative district are working at the scene. The police and the investigative department are working to identify the deceased, who was found with a passport belonging to a 73-year-old named R. Gyulumyan. Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and an autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.
