Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Military Grenades Found Near Museum Protection Building

On December 10, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 08:00, the emergency situations ministry's 911 crisis management center received a report that military grenades had been found near the administrative building of the State Non-Commercial Organization for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and Historic Environment, located on Tairian Street.

Another similar report was received by the patrol service of the Armenian police in Yerevan. According to shamshyan.com, patrol officers from the 1st battalion's 2nd company of the Yerevan police swiftly arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Aram Dadanyan and company commander Nikolay Avetisyan. While the officers established a perimeter around the area, senior patrol officer Davit Simonyan and patrol officer Gevorg Mardoyan discovered another military grenade a short distance away. This location was also cordoned off by the patrol officers.
