Heavy snowfalls in Ashotzk are accompanied by thunder and lightning. This was reported by the Deputy Director of the National Weather Service's Hydro-meteorological and Monitoring Center, Gagik Surenyan, on his Facebook page, along with a video.
The Hydro-meteorological and Monitoring Center informs that rain is expected in the capital during the day, with a possibility of thunderstorms. From December 2 to 6, dry weather is anticipated. On December 1, wind intensification of 18-20 m/s is expected.
Regions: A significant part of the regions is expected to experience precipitation during the day and separately in some areas during the night of December 2, with snow in mountainous and foothill regions. From December 3 to 6, dry weather is also expected. Wind will be south-eastern at 2-5 m/s, with intensification of 20-25 m/s in some areas on December 1.
During the day on December 1, the temperature in the northern regions will decrease by 10-12 degrees, while in the Ararat Valley and foothills it will increase by 8-10 degrees. On December 2 and 3, especially during nighttime, a decrease of 7-10 degrees is expected.
In Artsakh, dry weather is anticipated today, with mixed rain and snow expected tomorrow.
