VIDEO: Customs Officers of the State Revenue Committee Deployed on the Goris-Kapan Highway; No Azerbaijani Vehicles Have Crossed

Customs officers from the State Revenue Committee are now operating on the Goris-Kapan highway, according to Rustam Badasyan, the chairman of the State Revenue Committee, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.

"The main functions have not been addressed yet; this will happen when any vehicle crosses the Armenian border," he noted.

According to Rustam Badasyan, there are more suitable alternatives to the buildings that are currently in the procurement process.

"Some of our state officials were already performing duties, and the customs officers are temporarily stationed in the same locations as other state officials until additional facilities are established," he said.

The chairman of the State Revenue Committee deemed it inappropriate to disclose where the customs officers are stationed and their status.

He assured that there has been no case of an Azerbaijani vehicle crossing the Armenian border.
