VIDEO: Corpses Are Stacked in Morgue Due to Dispute

The sanitary and hygienic conditions in the morgue of the Ashtarak Medical Center have not been maintained. A disagreement between the medical center and a company providing funeral services in the same area has created an unsanitary situation in the morgue. A1+ reports.

“The medical center has decided that the door should be closed and a wall should be built there, and this is being implemented in a way that last night, during the dark hours, they decided that this wall should be erected, and in the morgue, where there are also corpses - both male and female, side by side, which violates the rules,” noted Nelly Papyan, a lawyer for the 'Funeral and Burial Bureau' LLC.

Karen Ghonyan, a lawyer for the medical center, stated in an interview with us, “There has never been a sanitary issue and there is not one now; after organizing the construction, the only problem is with the refrigerator. The weather is in our favor now, and they will solve the refrigeration issue before it gets warmer to avoid that problem.”

The other lawyer representing the company, Alina Avetisyan, has direct suspicions that an attempt is being made by the medical director to seize the business.

Reports have been submitted to the police by both sides.
