Video: Mitsubishi Driver Slips Cash into Police Pocket to Avoid Report

On November 26, officers from the 3rd platoon of the 4th battalion of the Patrol Service of the Yerevan Police noticed a Mitsubishi vehicle at the intersection of Sebastiya and Raffi streets, which had tinted windows and lacked a mandatory insurance contract.

The police wanted to draw up a report against the 24-year-old driver from Yerevan. During this process, he attempted to evade the report by slipping cash into one of the officers' pockets. The police, acting on suspicion, detained him and took him to the Malatia police department, where the materials prepared were sent to the Anti-Corruption Committee for further investigation.

The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
