A School Manager Commits Suicide in Vanadzor Cemetery in the Presence of His Girlfriend

A tragic incident occurred in the Lori region on November 4. Around 11:10 AM, an unknown citizen reported to the Emergency Situations Ministry’s 911 crisis management center that there was a body hanging from a tree in the cemetery of Shahumyan village in Vanadzor.

According to Shamshyan.com, rescuers, police, and investigators discovered the body of 42-year-old V. V., a resident of the Lori region, hanging from a tree in the upper section of the new cemetery in Shahumyan village.

As reported by G. Shamshyan, he worked as an administrator at one of the secondary schools in the Lori region. He reportedly took this step while in the presence of his 35-year-old girlfriend, committing suicide by hanging.

Materials are being prepared on the incident by the Lori regional investigative department. Upon the investigator's decision, a number of examinations have been scheduled, including a forensic medical examination of the body.
