Gunfire Resembles Action Movie in Yerevan: 4 Dead, One Identified as 'Kanaker Tuyen'
On November 11, Yerevan experienced gunfire and murders reminiscent of an action movie. Around 2:50 AM, the Operational Management Center of the Police of Armenia received alerts about gunshots from one of the private homes in Kanaker.
According to reports from the scene by Shamshyan.com, police and investigators found two male bodies in the backyard of one of the houses on Kanaker Street 16. It was also revealed that two additional individuals were transported to the hospital but were reported dead on arrival.
The scene contained multiple types of firearms, spent cartridges, projectiles, a knife, and blood-like traces. According to information from the photojournalist, one of the deceased was a well-known figure in the criminal world, identified as 'Kanaker Tuyen'. Locals, who refused to speak on camera, indicated that the house where the incident occurred belonged to former MP Artush.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigative Department of Yerevan under several articles of the Criminal Code of Armenia. Police and investigators are conducting necessary operational intelligence and investigative joint actions to clarify the circumstances of the incident and the identities of the deceased.
