On October 31, at 1:50 PM, the police operational management center received a report that a man had killed his wife and injured himself in a house located at 56 Suvorov Street. Erebuni police, who quickly responded to the emergency call, arrived at the specified house. The man was in the kitchen, and the door was locked. Thanks to the precise actions of the operational group, he opened the door.

There were blood traces in the kitchen, and on the floor lay the woman's body. According to initial reports, a 52-year-old man had strangled his 46-year-old wife out of jealousy, then injured his hand with a kitchen knife, resulting in significant blood loss.

The man was taken to the ‘Erebuni’ medical center under escort by criminal investigators, where he was diagnosed with a laceration in the lower third of his left forearm and damage to tendons and neurovascular bundles. After receiving the necessary medical assistance, he was transferred to the Erebuni police station, and subsequently presented to the territorial investigative body conducting the investigation of the case.
