Chances Are Quite High: Melkumyan on BHK Candidate for Abovyan Local Elections

In the upcoming local elections scheduled for December 5 in the consolidated 10 communities of Abovyan, the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will nominate the candidacy of Eduard Babayan. This was stated by the Vice President of the BHK Political Council, former MP Mikayel Melkumyan, in an interview with Tert.am.

Melkumyan rated the BHK's chances quite highly. “Eduard Babayan has been a proportional representative in that area and has gathered a considerable number of votes. He is a resident of Abovyan city and knows the city and surrounding villages very well. He is familiar with local issues and enjoys the respect of the community's residents. He has accomplished a lot in terms of improving public areas and lighting, and we highly appreciate Eduard Babayan's chances,” Melkumyan said.
