Two Unarmed Soldiers Missing from Syunik for 42 Days
It has been 42 days since two unarmed soldiers from Syunik went missing. According to official sources, the search operations are ongoing but have been unsuccessful.
On the dawn of July 14, due to fog, unarmed soldiers Arthur Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan lost their way, and their whereabouts remain unknown. The Ministry of Defense informed Factinfo that there is still no information about the soldiers, and the search efforts have not ceased.
The Russian side is also participating in the search operations for the soldiers. The possibility of them being on the Azerbaijani side has been discussed from the very first day, but there has been no confirmation from Azerbaijan.
Earlier, it was reported that on the dawn of July 14, during foggy conditions, communication was lost with soldier Arthur Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan while they were fulfilling their official duties in an army vehicle from the Armenian Armed Forces' N military unit, located in the southeastern direction of the Republic of Armenia.
It was revealed yesterday that another soldier, this time from the officer staff, has also gone missing.
