Soldier Missing: Statement from the Ministry of Defense

On August 22, around 21:00, a soldier from the RA Ministry of Defense's military unit N, Senior Lieutenant Arthur Boris Davityan, left his permanent deployment location without the permission of his superior command, after which contact with him was lost.

According to preliminary information, Senior Lieutenant Davityan became disoriented in poor visibility conditions and ended up on the Azerbaijani side. Search and rescue operations have immediately commenced, and efforts are underway, with mediation from the Russian side, to confirm the soldier's presence on the Azerbaijani side.
