Video: Suspect with Packaged Drugs Arrested at Beach by Police

Thanks to such careful service, on August 8, officers from the Sevan police division and the police troops discovered drugs.

This information was reported by the Police’s press service. Around 6 PM, while carrying out joint patrol duties, police arrested a 35-year-old resident of the village of Dvin on suspicion of drug possession and usage at the southern beach of the Sevan peninsula. During a personal search, two packages containing a greenish dry, crushed substance were found on him.

According to the 35-year-old man, the discovered substance is marijuana, which he had harvested and prepared from wild hemp plants for smoking. A forensic chemical examination has been ordered. The investigation is ongoing.
