Video: 47-Year-Old Man Collected Cannabis From Fields Near Garibjanyan Village

On August 5, officers from the Kumayri division of the Shiraz Police received information that a 47-year-old resident of the Vanavan village was storing, preparing, and using marijuana.

On the same day, he was taken to the division for questioning. During a personal search, polyethylene bags containing 93 and 74 grams of cannabis-like substance were discovered in his pockets.

According to him, the seized substance is cannabis that he allegedly collected from the fields near Garibjanyan village for personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been initiated, and circumstances are being clarified.
