Armed Police Intensify Operations in the Capital: Details

For several hours now, an intensified police operation has been underway in various parts of the capital on the instruction of the police chief. Especially in the suburban neighborhoods, police raids are being conducted, stopping vehicles for checks. Reports Hraparak.

The news agency has learned that just hours before this operation, the police chief summoned the heads of almost all police divisions to the central police department and issued such an order.

According to the agency's correspondent, traffic jams have formed almost up to Isakov Avenue due to the ongoing operations at the Arghavandi intersection.

Levon Barseghyan, the president of the "Asparez" club, has also commented on the issue and is actively covering it on his Facebook page. He notes that police officers are checking vehicles with the aim of confiscating illegal weapons and ammunition.
